I haven't been there in months though, so perhaps it's changed, or maybe my granny in Mississippi has ruined me and no one else in southern Indiana knows what good southern food is.hmmm. The salad bar was horrible, a few kinds of lettuce, cheese, croutons. After you get a quarter of they way through the buffet, it kind of just started all over again with the exact same foods. The buffet didn't have a lot of variety and a lot of the same dishes were offered. The seafood area was swarming with people, as in, every time the containers were restocked the same people would go clean them out. I was pretty disappointed that none of it tasted like the spectacular southern fare that I get when I go to the deep south. In true Paula Deen style, it's all home style type dishes and swimming in butter. I prefer to take the 15 minute drive to Downtown Louisville.
When I pay for gourmet food, I want gourmet food. It's not horrible, it's just very overpriced. I'm not a big fan of any of the dining facilities in Horseshoe Southern Indiana, but if I had a comp I would certainly eat there.
